Hello and Welcome...

...to the world created with Kaleidoscape

Casas Limaria

Unusually, Kaleidoscape is made up not only of Environmental Professionals. The people that we work with pride themselves with the ability to include almost anyone with an active interest in the world around them. The reason that we do this is because we believe that, although trained to the highest degrees, the professionals sometimes miss the simplicity available to the untrained eye.

The company is directed by Jamie Conway, a Licentiate Landscape Architect specialised in: Sustainable Municipal Environmental Management for Rural Areas. He has worked with the environment for over 23 years in 10 different countries and continues to work in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and the UK. For thousands of years, building and woodworking skills have been complex and adapted to more natural materials found in the immediate surroundings of a dwelling or home place. In modern times the majority of construction activities involve industrially produced stone, brick and metal work. The ability to develop a home or harmonious open space however, is within us all. Modern building materials allow less experienced people to join in and this simple, easy-to-read website will offer you hands-on advice and easy-to-follow information which can be utilised with just about any project, anywhere in the world.

With Jamie's leadership we hope to involve you with a wide range of projects from Research and investigation, through education and environmental workshops, to getting innovative designs constructed in the real world. Our company staff is made up both of professionals and volunteers alike dependant upon a given situation. When we need outside assistance we call upon it and manage the progress through carefully laid out contractual systems and tendering procedures relevant to the country of the given project.

To help you achieve your goals we will pack this site full of inspirationally useful hints, tips and instructions that will lead you on your way to the envious admiration of your friends and neighbours. Whether you are starting from scratch or modifying an existing property, we will include simple projects that will take no more than a few weekends. Once mastered, the skills demonstrated within this site will allow you to adapt them and complete more complicated projects of your own design. Continuing until your heart's content, you will also know how and when to call in the professionals and how to get the best value for money from them.

Due to the unusual nature of our company makeup, we welcome you to join us and continue learning more about your environment. At the moment we have only included some of the projects that "we've" completed but, as the site grows, we would like to help you display some of your projects too. So without further ado, feel free to wander around and enjoy our new website.
